Jen released her first inspirational single “My Heart’s Desire” in January 2012 with co-writer and mentor, Ed Kerr. My Heart’s Desire features the vocals of Leann Albrecht and includes both Ed & Jen on BGVs. This song was recently featured for 3 weeks on Eric Copeland’s New Music Week beginning the week of August 13, 2012. This song is also on her new EP release, Your Love Comes After Me.

A devoted follower of Christ, Jen has been married to the same husband twice for 25 years: a testimony to the power of Christ’s love to experience reconciliation and healing from divorce. She is a mom of two adult married daughters and a teenage son on the Autism Spectrum.
Jen has been active in church worship teams for over the past 9 years and trained in worship leading. She is also active with volunteering in her community. She has a Master of Science Degree in Counseling Psychology and has worked in the behavioral and mental health fields for the past 20 years. Her blog ministry of No Longer Opposed is a place where she shares her expertise in the mental health field from a Christ-centered perspective with those who are hurting and searching for hope and healing.
Jen has been coached by Ed Kerr in keyboarding, arranging, songwriting and worship leading. She is currently receiving mentoring in songwriter development by Cindy Wilt Colville and receiving vocal training under Sheri Gould. Jen is also working with Eric Copeland of Creative Soul in Nashville, TN with Artist Development and future recording projects.
